There is one full bathroom in the master suite and one in the common area.

A lightweight infrared heater can be moved to any area to extend the seasons

1. The covered front porch has two chairs plus benches to take the shade and watch bikers, joggers and pedestrians on the quiet, scenic road in front of the house
2. The southern patio with a Vermont Castings grill has just enough shade to be perfect for a meal most times of day and a cast-iron chiminea for cool evenings.
3. The private back deck offers morning sun, lounge chairs and an umbrella for a quiet lunch.

The detached garage has space for two cars. Cruiser bikes are available for two people. The home includes a gear room to stash your toys and a ski locker in the garage.

Wilson Elementary School, Hungry Jack’s General Store, Pearl Street Bagels, Wilson Backcountry Sports, Moos Ice cream, Nora’s Fish Creek Inn restaurant, Streetfood Café, the Owen Bircher Park and the Stagecoach Bar are all about a1/2-3/4 mile away.

The bike path will take you to the Snake River and the fabulous R Park with the Mama Mimi troll (about 1.5 miles), into the town of Jackson (about 8 miles), to the “quiet” side of Grand Teton National Park  and Jackson Hole ski resort (about 9 miles), and the long way around through the town of Jackson, past the Elk Refuge and the Wildlife Museum to Jenny Lake (about 28 miles on dedicated bike path).

The home takes its name from the moose that frequent the yard and the neighborhood. If you’re lucky, you may see and hear cow, calf and bull moose grazing on the artic willows outside the windows.

It’s a delight to listen to sandhill cranes and frogs in the spring in the nearby pond, and to hear the occasional elk bugling in the fall.

Less frequently, fox, deer and elk turn up in the yard. Trumpeter swans, bald eagles and osprey can be seen on Fish Creek Road in season.
